Tout en marchant ensemble dans Central Park, Sam demanda Marilyn ce qu'elle apprenait à l'Actors Studio. Quand elle a répondu: «Improvisation», il lui demanda de lui montrer. Marilyn attrapa le journal de Sam et se dirigea vers un banc à lire. Plus tard, elle expliqua l'intense conversation du couple. A côté d'elle, l'homme demanda à la femme de se marier avec lui. Elle a dit qu'elle le ferait, mais à la condition qu'il renonce à sa vie de bookmaker.
While walking together through Central Park, Sam asked Marilyn what she was learning at the Actors Studio. When she responded, “Improvisation,” he asked her to show him. Marilyn grabbed Sam’s newspaper and headed to a bench to read. Later she explained the couple’s intense conversation. Next to her, the man was asking for the woman to marry him. She said she would, but on the condition that he give up his livelihood as a bookie.
