Marilyn Monroe photographiée par Milton H Greene, en février / mars 1955 dans le studio de Milton Greene (celui de Lexington à New York ou celui de Weston dans le Connecticut ?). Marilyn porte la robe de satin blanc et un manteau de fourrure d’hermine (offert par Milton), des créations du couturier Norman Norell - qu'elle a porté lors du cocktail organisé avec la presse le 07 janvier 1955 pour annoncer la formation des MM Productions.

Séance photos improvisée de Marilyn Monroe prise le 8 mars 1955 dans le studio de Milton Greene au 480 Lexington Avenue, 45th Street à New York; Marilyn venait de sortir de la loge après s'être coiffée et maquillée, vêtue d'un peignoir blanc. En la découvrant ainsi, Milton Greene aurait dit "Photographions cela !". Bien que le crédit photographique de la séance soit désormais attribué à Milton Greene car la séance a eu lieu dans son studio, Marilyn est en fait photographiée par Sam Shaw - et il semblerait que ce soit Marty Bauman, assistant photographe de Greene, qui soit l'auteur des photos prises en coulisses.
Improvised sitting of Marilyn Monroe taken on March 8, 1955 in Milton Greene's studio at 480 Lexington Avenue, 45th Street in New York; Marilyn has just left the dressing room after doing her hair and makeup, wearing a white bathrobe. Discovering her like this, Milton Greene would have said "Let's shoot this!". Although photo credit of the sitting is now attributed to Milton Greene as the shoot took place in his studio, Marilyn is actually photographed by Sam Shaw - and it seems that Marty Bauman, Greene's assistant photographer, is the one who photographs the backstage photos.
