Le 12 juin 1956, Arthur Miller quitte le Nevada (d'où il a divorcé de son épouse Mary Slattery, divorce prononcé la veille, le 11 juin) et regagne New York pour rejoindre Marilyn Monroe à Sutton Place. A son arrivée à l'aéroport de New York, il refuse de commenter face aux journalistes sa relation avec Marilyn.
In June 12, 1956, Arthur Miller leaves Nevada (where he divorced from his wife, Mary Slattery, divorce prononced the day before, on June 11) and returns in New York to join Marilyn Monroe in Sutton Place. On his arrival at the airport in New York, he declined to comment to reporters his relationship with Marilyn.
