Le convoi s'est arrêté pour la nuit. Après la difficile bataille qu'ils ont du affronter la journée, l'équipe s'active avec les danseuses qui astiquent la locomotive: on distingue en arrière plan Ruby (Joyce MacKenzie) et Clara (Marilyn Monroe); pendant que leur patronne Mme Adelaide (Connie Gilchrist) racommode un chapeau en le recousant. Johnny (Dan Dailey) se rhabille avec son panatalon lavé et repassé par Long Time (Victor Sen Yung).
The convoy stopped for the night. After the difficult battle they had to face the day, the team gets busy with the dancers who polish the locomotive: we can see in the background Ruby (Joyce MacKenzie) and Clara (Marilyn Monroe); while their boss Mrs. Adelaide (Connie Gilchrist) mends a hat by stitching it up. Johnny (Dan Dailey) gets dressed in his pants washed and ironed by Long Time (Victor Sen Yung).

On distingue Marilyn Monroe dans la roulotte où elle arrive avec les autres filles (Marion Marshall, Joyce MacKenzie et Barbara Smith); puis parmi les figurants de la foule (on la reconnaît par la couleur jaune de sa robe).
The convoy arrives at the town of Tomahawk, where the "Town Limits" sign is posted.
Marilyn Monroe is distinguished in the trailer where she arrives with the other girls (Marion Marshall, Joyce MacKenzie and Barbara Smith); then among the extras in the crowd (we recognize her by the yellow color of her dress).
