Dans le film "La vérité si je mens !", de Thomas Gilou en 1997, on découvre un cadre de Marilyn dans la maison de Patrick Abitbol (interprété par Gilbert Melki). Il s'agit de la scène où Dov Mimran (Vincent Elbaz) entraîne en pleine nuit Eddie Vuibert (Richard Anconina) et des copines (dont Aure Attika), dans une luxueuse propriété (qui est celle de Patrick Abitbol). Pendant que Dov s'amuse dans la piscine avec les deux filles, Eddie visite la maison et c'est à ce moment que l'on découvre, accroché au mur derrière le piano, un grand cadre de Marilyn.

L'histoire: Édouard "Eddie" Vuibert est un jeune chômeur arpentant les rues de Paris dans l'espoir de trouver du travail. En tentant d'échapper à deux escrocs après avoir gagné à leur jeu de bonneteau, il tombe sur Victor Benzakhem, patron d'un entrepôt de textile dans le Quartier du sentier. Suite à un malentendu, Benzakhem embauche le jeune homme en pensant à tort qu'il est de confession juive. D'abord simple manutentionnaire, Eddie gravit peu à peu les échelons et se rapproche de la fille du patron, Sandra. Se faisant passer pour un juif auprès de ses amis, le jeune homme finit par monter sa propre boîte avec l'aide de Dov et Yvan, ce qui n'est pas du goût de Benzakhem...
