Le 13 septembre 1954, Marilyn Monroe tourne ce qui sera la scène finale du film "Sept ans de réflexion", celle où elle est en peignoir dans l'appartement de Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell); et lui lance ses chaussures par la fenêtre. Il s'agit de la première scène tournée en extérieur, à New York, dans l'appartement situé au 164 East 61 Street. Près de 1000 personnes (des photographes, gens de la presse et beaucoup de passants et de fans), se sont amassés devant l'immeuble.

In September, 13, 1954, Marilyn Monroe shoots what will be the final scene of "The Seven Year Itch", the one where she is in a white robe in the apartment of Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell); and she throws his shoes from out the window. This is the first scene shot on location in New York, in an apartment located at 164 East 61 Street. Nearly 1,000 people (photographers, press people and a lot of shoppers and fans), were raised in front of the building.

Le 13 septembre 1954, Marilyn Monroe tourne ce qui sera la scène finale du film "Sept ans de réflexion", celle où elle est en peignoir dans l'appartement de Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell). Il s'agit de la première scène tournée en extérieur, à New York, dans l'appartement situé au 164 East 61 Street.

In September, 13, 1954, Marilyn Monroe shoots what will be the final scene of "The Seven Year Itch", the one where she is in a white robe in the apartment of Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell). This is the first scene shot on location in New York, in an apartment located at 164 East 61 Street.

Il s'agit de la première scène tournée en extérieur, à New York, dans l'appartement situé au 164 East 61 Street. Près de 1000 personnes (des photographes, gens de la presse et beaucoup de passants et de fans), se sont amassés devant l'immeuble.

In September, 13, 1954, Marilyn Monroe shoots what will be the final scene of "The Seven Year Itch", the one where she is in a white robe in the apartment of Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell). This is the first scene shot on location in New York, in an apartment located at 164 East 61 Street. Nearly 1,000 people (photographers, press people and a lot of shoppers and fans), were raised in front of the building.

28/03/1959 Première Some Like It Hot

Le 28 mars 1959 se tient la première de "Some Like It Hot" ("Certains l'aiment chaud"), au Lowe’s Capitol Theater, un cinéma de Broadway, à New York. Marilyn Monroe y participe avec son mari Arthur Miller. Toute de blanc vêtue, avec une robe à strass, elle est plus resplendissante que jamais.

On March 28, 1959 is the premiere of "Some Like It Hot" at Lowe's Capitol Theater, a Broadway cinema in New York. Marilyn Monroe arrives with her husband Arthur Miller. Dressed all in white, with a rhinestone dress, she is brighter than ever.
After, Marilyn and Arthur go to 135 Central Park West for the Lee and Paula Strasberg hosted post-premiere party following the showing of the movie.

11/04/1957 Bal April in Paris

Le 11 avril 1957, Marilyn Monroe et Arthur Miller participent au grand bal "April in Paris" au Waldorf Astoria à Manhattan, New York; un gala fêtant le 200ème anniversaire de la naissance de Lafayette. Pendant le dîner, Marilyn discute avec l'ancien ambassadeur de l'Angleterre Winthrop Aldrich, mais aussi avec la journaliste Elsa Maxwell. Les acteurs français Gérard Philipe et Jean Marais et l'actrice Françoise Arnoul viennent saluer Marilyn.
La duchesse de Windsor demande à Marilyn de tirer les tickets de tombola dont les deux lots étaient deux voitures (une Chrysler et une Citröen). Avant de partir, chaque invité reçoit des cadeaux en souvenirs: des échantillons de produits de luxe "made in France", comprenant eau de cologne, parfums, cravates Dior, moutarde de Dijon et des bonbons.
Marilyn portait une robe de Norman Norell.
