A typescript letter on Albert R. Blum, Business and Financial Management headed stationary, addressed to Miss Marilyn Monroe, 4215 Rowland Street, Burbank, California, from John Carroll, confirming an agreement between Marilyn Monroe and John Carroll, dated December, 4th, 1947, ... for ... One hundred Dollars ($100.00) to be paid... weekly provided that Marilyn engaged her professional services as an actress through only Carroll, ... and that all remuneration that you shall receive by virtue of such professional services, shall be paid to me, from which I agree to pay ten per cent (10%) of such amount to Harry Lipton, your present agent ... stipulating that ... this contract shall be in full force and effect from December 1st 1947 to and including February 29th 1948 ..., the letter signed in black ballpoint pen by John Carroll and counter-signed in black ink by Marilyn Monroe; in common mount with a machine-print photograph of subject and a plaque engraved Marilyn Monroe 1926-1962.

Two pairs of sheer seamed nylon stockings in natural tones, one pair with a line of pale blue stitching decorating the tops which are additionally stitch-marked 60, the other pair of a slightly darker hue, specially designed for open-toe shoe wear with graduated holes at the toes, additionally marked in white on one stocking top Made By Dupont, Nylon, 5 Gauge; accompanied by a copy of the Sunday Express newspaper, July 15th, 1956, featuring photographs of Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller on the front page on their arrival in England to shoot the film The Prince And The Showgirl, one photo detail showing the lower half of Marilyn's leg captioned No! It couldn't be. Or is it really a ladder in Miss Monroe's smooth stocking.. -- both pairs given by Monroe to Marianne Geltner, the cook at Parkside House, Englefield Green, Surrey, in 1956 when Monroe resided there with her husband during the making of the film (3)

A carbon copy of a typescript letter from Marilyn's acting coach Natasha Lytess to Marilyn Monroe to a form of an agreement, signed by both Monroe and Lytess, the letter dated May, 8th, 1951, requesting that Marilyn pay a weekly rate of $200 toward Lytess's outstanding bill of $1,800 for dental work by Dr. Hollenbeck of Sherman Oaks in California ... during each week that you [Monroe] receive your compensation from 20th Century Fox Film Corporation ... Lytess pledging to repay the money to Marilyn at a rate of $25.00 a week and agreeing that ... In the event I default in making any payment during any weeks whether I am employed or not, then you shall not be obligated to advance any further money for me ... and you may take sych steps against me as you, in your sole discretion, may determine ... 1p. the document signed at the foot by Lytess in blue ink and by Marilyn in blue pallpoint pen, in common mount with a head and shoulders colour machine-print publicity photograph of Monroe framed.

A late 19th Century-style bodice in black imitation lace, the neck and sleeves trimmed with cream machine lace and black velvet, fastening at the front with faceted black buttons -- purchased by Jack Cardiff for Marilyn Monroe and worn by her during a photo session in 1956; accompanied by a corresponding colour photograph by Cardiff of Monroe wearing the bodice [printed later] -- 7x5in. A pair of dove-grey suede stiletto-heeled shoes made in Italy by Ferragamo, both shoes stamped on the insole in gilt with maker's details and additionally inscribed inside in an unidentified hand in black ink AL8169 7½B 111; accompanied by a typescript letter, signed, concerning the provenance from Anna Strasberg, dated June 11th, 1987, to Father George W. Moore, St. Malachy's Church, 239 West 49th St, New York, asking him to ...accept this letter as a Deed of Gift whereby I transfer, assign and deliver...a pair of grey suede shoes (3 inch heel, size 7½B, label Ferragamos) from the personal effects of Marilyn Monroe. Under the last will and testament of Marilyn Monroe, all of her personal effects and clothing were given to my late husband, Lee Strasberg... 1p. the letter additionally signed by Father Moore by way of a receipt and accompanied by the corresponding envelope (2)
