Je suis totalement d'accord avec Chris. Quelle déception !!

Le 2nd volume (1956-1962) n'est pas du tout à la hauteur de l'ambition de l'auteur (à savoir faire une biographie qui fait référence). Comme l'a dit Chris, tout se mélange : la fiction, la réalité historique, les ragots. L'auteur ne fait que pomper ce qui a déjà été publié à coup de notes de bas de page, en reprenant notamment des pans entiers de la biographie (controversée) de J. Randy Taraborrelli. Je ne recommande pas.

Autant j'ai adoré et apprécié le premier volume, autant le deuxième volume m'a paru fouillis et rapportant, à mon goût, toutes les rumeurs er ragots sur sa vie, sans jamais donner la propre opinion de l'auteur. Tout y est Slatzer, les Kennedy, Otash, Murray.

Total des 2 volumes, 1700 pages et tout en anglais. Dieu sait que je suis un fan de Marilyn, mais la j'abdique. Sans une traduction française, je n'aurais jamais le courage de lire tout ça. Merci ginie pour l'info.
