Le grand départ du convoi: Madame Adelaide (Connie Gilchrist) voyage dans sa roulotte (où est disposée une pancarte "Madame Adelaide and her Sextet" - en français "Madame Adelaide et son sextuor"] avec ses filles chanteuses et danseuses [Clara (Marilyn Monroe), Ruby (Joyce MacKenzie), Annie (Marion Marshall) et Julie (Barbara Smith)]; elles saluent la foule.

The great departure of the convoy: Madame Adelaide (Connie Gilchrist) travels in her caravan (where a sign is displayed "Madame Adelaide and her Sextet") with her singing and dancing girls [Clara (Marilyn Monroe), Ruby (Joyce MacKenzie), Annie (Marion Marshall) and Julie (Barbara Smith)]; they wave to the crowd.
