An original poster featuring the iconic "A New Wrinkle" image by photographer Tom Kelley. The poster is inscribed in black ink in lower right "For Lucien -/ This isn't my best angle,/ affectionately/ Marilyn." Lucien refers to cinematographer Lucien Ballard, who shot Let'sMake It Legal, 20th Century Fox 1951, and Don't Bother To Knock, 20th Century Fox 1952, with Monroe. 21 by 16 inches.

Monroe was featured in a number of Westmore ads in the mid-1950s that also advertised her Twentieth Century Fox films. 13 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches.

lot n°190: MARILYN MONROE ORIGINAL SKETCH
A mixed media sketch created by Marilyn Monroe depicting a cat. Below the image are the handwritten words "a cat watching its own tail move." The image is from the personal files of Lotte Goslar, Monroe's friend and teacher, and is accompanied by a letter from the Goslar estate. Goslar was the director of the Pantomime Circus Dance Troupe and taught Monroe in the mid-1950s. They remained friends, and Goslar was one of the few people invited to Monroe's funeral. 9 by 11 1/2 inches.

A Marilyn Monroe worn dress from the film River of No Return (20th Century Fox, 1954). Worn for her role as Kay Weston as she sings "I'm Gonna File My Claim." The green velour dress was designed by Travilla. Two high slits create a panel in the front of the skirt that reveals a red tiered underskirt. Exaggerated bustle at back, with ribbon and beaded trim at shoulders.

lot n°193: LAURENCE OLIVIER Prince & Showgirl ORNET JACKET
A formal jacket from The Prince and the Showgirl (Warner Bros., 1957) worn by Grand Duke Charles, played by Laurence Olivier, as he dances with Elsie, the showgirl, played by Marilyn Monroe, at his son's coronation ball. The heavy wool, cream colored jacket has red collar and cuffs. The jacket is detailed with hand-stitched black, red and gold cord and still has the threaded loops where the medallions were attached on the front. Accompanied by a copy of the film.

A Marilyn Monroe signed check written to "Mr M Chekhov" in the amount of $60.00 and dated December 1, 1954. Endorsed by Michael Chekhov on verso. Monroe has written in her bank information on the check. Chekhov was Monroe's acting teacher for a time. When Monroe died, she willed Chekhov's widow $2500 a year. 2 3/4 by 5 3/4 inches
