Marilyn s'est rendue pour la dernière fois à Cal-Neva Lodge sur une invitation des Lawford le week- end du 27 au 29 juillet 1962, soit une semaine avant son décés. L'histoire de ce week-end est très controversée, confuse et contestée, car on raconte qu'elle aurait passé un week-end d'orgie sexuelle, sous l'emprise d'alcool et de drogues ! Dans les faits, on sait qu'elle rencontra brièvement Dean Martin pour discuter d'un projet de film; de plus, Joe DiMaggio, son ex-époux, était présent, et apparemment, ils auraient discuté d'un éventuel remarriage; en outre, Peter Lawford aurait informé à Marilyn de couper tout contact avec les frères Kennedy.

Marilyn went for the last time at Cal-Neva Lodge by an invitation of the Lawford's on the weekend of July 27 to 29, 1962, a week before her death. The story of this weekend is very controversial, confusing and contested, as the story goes she had spent a weekend of sexual orgy under the influence of alcohol and drugs! In fact, we know that she briefly met Dean Martin to discuss a film project; furthermore, her ex-husband Joe DiMaggio was present, and apparently, they discussed of a possible rewedding; moreover, Peter Lawford had informed Marilyn to cut off all contact with the Kennedy brothers.

Marilyn Monroe participe à une action caricative organisée par Danny Thomas à The Hollywood Bowl le 10 juillet 1953 dont les bénéfices seront reversés à l'hôpital Saint Jude. Pour cette soirée, Marilyn porte une de ses tenues du film Les Hommes préfèrent les blondes (une longue robe aux tons rouge-orangé avec le petit foulard assorti). Marilyn est accompagnée de l'acteur Robert Mitchum (son partenaire dans La Rivière Sans Retour) ; ensuite elle retrouve l'acteur de sitcom Danny Thomas sur scène pour coanimer la soirée, puis elle pose pour les photographes dans les coulisses aux côtés du chanteur et acteur Danny Kaye, l'acteur Red Buttons, le photographe Bruno Bernard et le quatuor chanteurs les Ames Brothers, entre autres... Parmi les autres guests, figurent l'actrice Jane Russell.

For this evening, Marilyn wears one of her outfits from the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (a long dress with orange-red tones and scarf). Marilyn is accompanied by actor Robert Mitchum (her partner in River of no return); She meets sitcom actor Danny Thomas on stage to co-host the evening, then she poses for the behind-the-scenes photographers with the singer and actor Danny Kaye, actor Red Buttons, photographer Bruno Bernard and singer quartet Ames Brothers, among others... Other guests include actress Jane Russell.

Le 21 août 1952 Marilyn Monroe enregistre dans l'émission de radio "Statement in full" sur la station NBC un spécial "Hollywood Star Playhouse" en différé. On lui fait visiter les locaux de la station radio qui se trouve à Manhattan, dans New York, et on lui montre le fonctionnement de l'enregistrement d'une émission, avec toutes les techniques et matériels utilisés. Quand à l'émission, elle sera diffusée sur les ondes dix jours plus tard, le 31 août. 
On 1952 August, 21, Marilyn Monroe record a special radio show called "Hollywood Star Playhouse" on the "Statement in full" program, on the NBC Radio Station in Manhattan. She visits the place, located ib Manhattan, New York City, and she is shown how a program is recorded, with all the techniques and materials used. The show will be diffused ten days after, on August 31.

William Carroll affirme que la session a eu lieu en août 1945: mais Marilyn avait à cette époque les cheveux châtains foncés et fort bouclés; elle s'est éclaircie les cheveux et les a lissés en 1946.

Le 08 novembre 1952, Marilyn Monroe se trouve dans les studios de la 20th Century Fox à Los Angeles pour passer des essais coiffures et maquillage pour le prochain film qu'elle doit tourner "Les Hommes préfèrent les blondes".

On November 08, 1952, Marilyn Monroe is at the 20th Century Fox studios in Los Angeles to make the hairstyles and makeup tests for the next film she will to shoot "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes".

 Le même jour, quand elle regagne sa loge des studios de la Fox, Marilyn Monroe annote un article rédigé par Zsa Zsa Gabor,  en vue de la publication d'un article sur "Ce qui ne va pas avec les hommes américains ?" pour le magazine Look (article qui sera publié avec les annotations de Marilyn le 30 décembre 1952) et photographiée par Earl Theisen.

The same day, when she goes to her dressing room at the Fox studios, Marilyn Monroe annotates an article written by Zsa Zsa Gabor, in order to the publication of an article on "What's wrong with American men? " for Look magazine (article to be published with Marilyn's annotations on November 30, 1952) and photographed by Earl Theisen.
