Description: De janvier 1960 jusqu'au 4 août 1962, Ralph Greenson fut le psychanalyste de Marilyn Monroe. Elle lui avait donné comme mission de l'aider à se lever, à jouer au cinéma, à aimer, à ne pas mourir. Ce récit retrace la relation tourmentée entre Marilyn et cet homme qui fut tour à tour un père, une mère, un ami mais qui ne put la sauver d'elle-même, de sa peur et de sa solitude. Il fut la dernière personne à l'avoir vue vivante et la première à l'avoir trouvée morte.Lorsque l'actrice s'adresse en 1960 à Greenson, celui-ci est un psychanalyste freudien réputé de la côte ouest, mais aussi un homme fasciné par le cinéma et Marilyn est certes la déesse du sexe mais aussi une femme souffrant d'inhibitions et d'angoisses qui a déjà eu recours aux soins de deux psychanalystes à New York. Lors de leur première rencontre, Greenson saisit la fragilité narcissique de Marilyn, manifestée notamment par une toxicomanie aux barbituriques, et avec prudence il lui refuse le divan et lui propose une psychothérapie en face à face.Mais très vite leur relation dérape et Greenson intervient de plus en plus massivement dans la réalité, abandonnant progressivement tout ce qui aurait dû constituer le cadre analytique de cette cure. Il l'introduit dans sa famille, s'occupe de ses contrats professionnels, lui fournit lui-même les barbituriques, etc. Des deux, qui avait l'emprise sur l'autre ? Qui détruisait l'autre ? Le mystère reste entier.Une brillante adaptation du roman de Michel Schneider, prix Interallié 2006. Louison centre son récit sur les séances entre Marilyn Monroe et son psychanalyste pour mieux nous dévoiler l'intimité d'une femme brisée derrière son statut de star.

On perçoit une femme perdue, qui se réfugie dans les médicaments pour fuir le monde, mais qui est surtout en manque d'amour. Derrière l'étoile hollywoodienne, se cachait un tout autre visage. Le psychanalyste va tenter de la sauver d'elle-même, de ses addictions. Mais finalement, il va lui aussi se retrouver pris dans une spirale infernale, prisonnier et dépendant de sa patiente. Les frontières entre ce qui relève de l'analyse et de la vie privée vont devenir de plus en plus floues, et il finira par devenir l'image du père qu'elle voulait avoir. La dessinatrice nous montre une Marilyn Monroe fragile, qui n'est plus assimilée à l'image hyper sexualisée qu'on lui attribue. Ici, on ne peut pas dire qu'elle soit « belle ». Elle jouera néanmoins sur le langage corporel, qui reste très sensuel. (...) Cette bande dessinée permet de poser un autre regard sur cette icône Hollywoodienne et de saisir ses failles."
