Baby Sitter
When eighteen year-old Marilyn Monroe was called to "sit" with a baby in the home of a 20th Century Fox casting director, it was just another job to her.
The director took one look at the "sitter", promptly forgot where he and the missus hat planned to go that evening, and set about the business og getting Miss Monroe in the movies.
Marilyn's screen test turned out well. A long-term contract was signed, and the work of building a sitter into a star is now under way. Talking of work -Marilyn has to take dancing lessons, voice culture, dramatics, singing lessons, and all related subjects taht go into tha making of an actress. She still thinks she was tops as a sitter!
