Un ami m'a prêté un livre sur la synergologie: "Les codes inconscients de la séduction" de Philippe Turchet . A ma surprise, il y avait un chapitre sur Marilyn Monroe que voici:

Marilyn Monroe: un paradoxe apparent

Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962), c'est un mythe des mythes, la femme au pouvoir de séduction si énorme qu'elle fascine le monde aujourd'hui encore, 50 ans après sa mort. Il est assez vraisemblable que si elle avait vécu plus longtemps, elle ne serait pas devenue le mythe. Il n'empêche que Marilyn était et demeure unique.

En observant l'être humain caché derrière le personnage, un phénomène assez exceptionnel a retenu notre attention: Marilyn ne cligne pratiquement pas les paupières. Or que faisons-nous lorsque nous clignons des paupières? Nous allons chercher des informations externes et nous les envoyons dans notre cerveau, grâce à un mouvement moteur qui commande l'enregistrement de ses données. Plus nous sommes intéressés par les informations qui arrivent plus nous clignons des paupières pour les analyser et les emmagasiner dans notre cerveau. Que nous révèle Marilyn avec ses paupières fixes?

Elle nous montre qu'elle est murée en elle, qu'elle est totalement coupée de l'extérieur, qu'elle est sans attentes dans l'échange. Les acteurs de cinéma, une fois libérés de l'apprentissage d'un texte, miment les émotions de leurs personnages et les ressentent. C'est le propre de leur métier et c'est pour eux bien naturel.

Marilyn cligne des paupières de 8 à 14 fois moins souvent que les acteurs et actrices avec lesquels elle tourne. Dans certaines scènes, elle reste plus d'une minute trente sans cligner une seule fois des paupières, alors que le même laps de temps ses partenaires ferment subrepticement les yeux entre 8 et 20 fois.

Si Marilyn ne cligne pas des paupières, le mouvement des ses sourcils est en revanche incroyablement souple. Ses sourcils peuvent en effet monter très haut sur son front et descendre très bas sur ses yeux…. Les mouvements de sourcils de Marilyn Monroe constituent la force de son visage. Celui-ci est très plastique mais aussi très mobile, Marilyn utilise ses sourcils pour donner de la vivacité à ses messages.

Le paradoxe est là: aucun clignement des paupières et une extrême souplesse des sourcils. Mais le paradoxe n'est pas évident. En réalité, pour Marilyn Monroe le visage est un puissant moyen de séduction. Grâce à l'extrême de ses traits, toujours en mouvement, elle favorise les échanges visuels. Ce qui, chose étonnante, ne l'empêche pas d'être seule, incroyablement seule, car l'autre ne l'intéresse pas. Les paupières fixes, elle ne traite pas l'information qu'il lui envoie.

Marilyn est prise au piège de sa séduction. L'énorme impact de son image a totalement occulté la possibilité d'un rapport humain. Pour elle, l'échange s'est peu à peu vidé de toute substance.

Que nous soyons en accord ou pas avec cet auteur, je ne verrai plus la même façon la scène en gros plan de Marilyn dans le film Bus stop.
