Photographies de Earl Theisen, qui se souviendra de cette séance destinée au magazine Look: "Quand elle s'est rendue à la plage du studio pour faire les photos, elle portait un manteau de fourrure. Quand elle l'a enlevé, elle portait un bikini. Je l'ai grondée et lui ai dit que ce n'était pas bien; c'était pour un magazine de type familial . Je lui ai dit de mettre une robe ou quelque chose d'autre. Elle n'aimait pas être réprimandée ou corrigée comme ça."
Les photographies ne seront pas publiées et la séance restera inédite jusqu'en 2010.

Photographs by Earl Theisen,who will remember this session for Look magazine: "When she drove up to the studio beach set for the picture, she was wearing a fur coat. When she took it off, she was wearing a bikini. I scolded her and said it was no good; this was for a family type magazine. I told her to get into a dress or something. She didn't like to be scolded or corrected like that."
The photographs will not be published and the session will remain unpublished until 2010.

Marilyn Monroe fréquente beaucoup Frank Sinatra et sa bande du Rat Pack pendant l'été 1961 à Newport Beach; elle est d'ailleurs amie avec notamment Dean Martin, avec qui elle tourne ce qui restera son dernier film inachevé: Something's Got to Give. Photos prises par Jimmy Van Heusen, chanteur et ami de Sinatra, sur le yacht des Romanoff's en août 1961.

Le 26 mars 1946, Norma Jeane Dougherty pose dans divers maillots de bain pour le photographe Richard C. Miller sur les plages de Californie: à Stump Beach (Catalina) et à Santa Monica.
Elle signe le contrat autorisant le photographe à publier les clichés qu'il a pris d'elle ce jour là (cosigné par témoin, Margaret Miller, l'épouse du photographe); Norma Jeane vit au 11348 Nebraska Avenue, à Sawtelle, Californie.

On March 26, 1946, Norma Jeane Dougherty poses in various swimsuits for photographer Richard C. Miller on the beaches of California: in Stump Beach (Catalina) and in Santa Monica.
She signs the contract authorizing the photographer to publish the photos he tooks of her that day (co-signed by witness, Margaret Miller, the photographer's wife); Norma Jeane lives at 11348 Nebraska Avenue, in Sawtelle, California.

William Carroll affirme que la session a eu lieu en août 1945: mais Marilyn avait à cette époque les cheveux châtains foncés et fort bouclés; elle s'est éclaircie les cheveux et les a lissés en 1946.
