Le 24 janvier 1955, Marilyn Monroe et son ex-mari Joe DiMaggio dînent dans un restaurant de Boston avec le frère de Joe, Dominic DiMaggio et la femme de ce dernier, Emily. Quand les journalistes demandent au couple qu'ils se sont réconcilés, Marilyn leur répond: "Non, pas du tout. C'est juste une visite". Joe ne fait aucun commentaire. Le couple est invité par Dominic, à son domicile de Wellesly, dans le Massachusetts.

On January 24, 1955, Marilyn Monroe and ex-husband Joe DiMaggio dining in a restaurant in Boston, with the brother of Joe, Dominic DiMaggio and his wife Emily. When reporters ask to Marilyn if their meeting was a reconciliation, she answers: "No, it isn't. Just call it a visit". Joe refused to comment. The couple will be the guests of Dominic at his Wellesly, Massachusetts, home while visiting Massachusetts.

Début Janvier 1955, dans le Connecticut, chez Fleur Cowles (la rédactrice en chef du magazine Look, à l'origine de la première séance photo entre Greene et Marilyn) où Marilyn Monroe et Bertha Spafford-Vester (féministe et à la tête de la colonie américaine de Jérusalem, aidant aussi les enfants orphelins et malades) étaient invitées le temps d'un week-end. Early January 1995, in Connecticut, at Fleur Cowles' home (an American writern editor and artist(the editor-in-chief of Look magazine, behind the first photoshoot between Greene and Marilyn) where Marilyn Monroe and Bertha Spafford-Vester (feminist and leader of American colony in Jerusalem, helping also orphaned and sick children) were the guests for a weekend. Or, c'est une erreur de nomination car ce n'est pas Miss Collier qui figure sur cette série photographique. L'erreur provient sans doute du fait que la séance se nomme avec les initiales "CC" qui font plutot référence au lieu -Connecticut- et à l'hôte -Cowles.

/! / Milton Greene's website had listed this series of photos in the category "Constance Collier", an actress, author and theater director who was Marilyn's theater coach at the beginning of 1955. However, it is an error of nomination because it is not Miss Collier who appears on this photographic series. The mistake is probably due to the fact that the session is named with the initials "CC" which rather refers to the place -Connecticut- and to the host -Cowles.

On March 11, 1955, Marilyn Monroe participates to the annual dinner of Friars Club, at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin are the honor guests they are awarded), and the evening is dedicated to their charity for the benefit of myopathy (Muscular Dystrophy Association - MDA). Milton Berle is the master of ceremonies and Marilyn will join him on stage. The evening is punctuated by fanciful numbers. In the dinner room, Marilyn is seated next to Eddie Fisher; and Milton Greene and his wife Amy are at Ruth Berle's table. Other famous guests include Sammy Davis Jr. and Phil Silvers.
Marilyn wears a gold dress by Norman Norell.

Le 26 mars 1955, Marilyn Monroe pose en compagnie de Milton Berle et d'une petite fille de 8 ans, Alice Fitzpatrick, pour préparer la performance qu'ils donneront au cirque Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey le 30 mars, et dont les recettes seront reversées au profit de la lutte contre l'arthrite et les rhumatismes. Les photographies promotionnelles sont prises par Milton Greene, dans son studio de Lexington Avenue, à Manhattan, New York. 

On March 26, 1955, Marilyn Monroe poses with Milton Berle and a 8-year-old girl, Alice Fitzpatrick, who suffers from arthritis, to prepare the performance that they will give with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey on March 30, and whose income will be donated to support the fight against arthritis and rheumatism. Promotional photographs are taken by Milton Greene, in his studio in Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, New York City.

Le 24 mars 1955, Marilyn Monroe se prépare dans sa suite de l'Ambassador Hotel, à New York, enfilant une robe or lamé très moulante, se parfumant de Chanel n°5 et se repoudrant le visage, avant de se rendre, avec Milton Greene, au Morosco Theatre pour assister à la dernière pièce de théâtre de Tennessee William, "La chatte sur un toit brûlant", mise en scène par Elia Kazan, avec Barbara Bel Geddes dans le rôle de Maggie et Ben Gazzara dans celui de Brick (qui sera adapté au cinéma en 1958 par le réalisateur Richard Brooks avec Paul Newman et Elizabeth Taylor).

On March 24, 1955, Marilyn Monroe prepares herself in her suite at the Ambassador Hotel, New York, fitting in a skin-tight gold lame dress, perfuming Chanel No. 5 and makie-up her face, before going at the Morosco Theatre, with Milton Greene, for the new play of Tennessee William "Cat on a hot Tin Roof", directed by Elia Kazan, with Barbara Bel Geddes who plays the role of Maggie and Ben Gazzara who is Brick (which will be adapted to film in 1958 by director Richard Brooks with Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor).

Collins recalls that on this night he waited for MM and her group (which included her date, Milton Berle) to come out of the Copacabana night club which was located upstairs in the same building as The Hotel 14 at 14 East 60th Street in Manhattan -- his patience paid off when he was able to snap these great candid photos of the star as well as pose next to her in one (top row, center).
